My Specialities and Approach

I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from North Carolina State University in 2012 and went on to complete my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University in 2020. My counseling journey began with the YWCA of South Hampton Roads, where I supported clients healing from interpersonal violence, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, and complex trauma. Prior to becoming a licensed counselor, I worked extensively with military families, veterans, and parents of young children navigating the stress of transitions and deployments.

Currently, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC), with approximately six years of counseling experience.

Outside of the therapy office, you can usually find me exploring the outdoors with my family, trying out a new restaurant, or lost in a good book. My favorite way to de-stress at the end of a long day is by dancing it out in my living room.
